Preparation

Always ensure the surface to be painted is free from dust, dirt and any contaminates that may affect adheshion.

• Ensure to remove any oil and wax finishes prior to application with an appropriate remover
• Bare or new wood shuld be sanded to give a key
• Hard glossy surfaces should be sanded before painting
• Cover surrounding areas to protect from over spray

Application

We always recommend performing a test patch prior to application to ensure you are happy with the finished results.

• Shake the can vigorously for 1 minute after the mixing ball begins to rattle
• Ensure to shake the can throughout the application
• Hold can 30cm from surface and spray in a steady back and forth motion
• Slightly overlap each stroke
• Allow to dry for 4 hours and apply further coats if required
• Create a distressed look by applying two coats in contrasting colours and then sanding/ scouring when dry
• Apply a finish coat of for protection and longevity
